Northern Ireland Blueprint for Lung Cancer

The Northern Ireland Blueprint for Lung Cancer report is based on the outputs of the first Northern Ireland Lung Cancer Conference (Belfast, 20–21 November 2025), hosted by the Ulster Thoracic Society and supported by the UK Lung Cancer Coalition (UKLCC) and developed on behalf of the NICaN Lung Cancer Clinical Reference Group.  

It sets out urgent calls to action to save lives from lung cancer in Northern Ireland and close the survival gap with the rest of the UK. It also includes a detailed action plan for clinicians and policymakers to ensure its recommendations happen.
