The New Statesman and the UKLCC
This Lung Cancer Awareness Month, we are delighted to share a link to our 8-page supplement ‘UK Lung Cancer. 20 Years On: What’s Next?' which appears in the current issue of the New Statesman magazine.
This supplement was commissioned to mark two decades of campaigning and driving quality improvements in UK lung cancer care by the UKLCC and its partners. However, as with our 20th anniversary conference (which took place on the 4th November), it is more than a retrospective look at progress but an opportunity to debate and discuss what’s on the horizon for lung cancer care and make considered calls to action.
Opinion pieces within the supplement include topics such as ‘why the devolved nations must not lag behind in lung cancer care’ and ‘the changing lung cancer survivorship conversation.’ We would very much like to thank the supplement’s contributors which include Professor Peter Johnson, Professor David Baldwin, Dr Sinan Eccles, Cathy Brokenshire and Professor Gini Harrison.
As well as accessing the supplement via the free link above, the supplement is currently available on news-stands throughout the UK (dated 31 October issue). It has a regular readership of 150,000 and is also sent to a controlled circulation of 10,000 which includes every UK MP and Peer, plus special advisers, civil servants and selected individuals working in industry.
We kindly ask that you share the link to the supplement with your networks.
