Driving Improvements in Lung Cancer Care
A one-day National Quality Improvement Conference for all healthcare professionals involved in the diagnosis and management of lung cancer in the United Kingdom.
This event aims to identify the main elements currently limiting our ability to ensure best practice across the UK and explore solutions to these key issues which can be scaled up and implemented across the UK.
The event will use data from the most recent National Lung Cancer Audit as a backdrop to where some of the challenges lie and will also focus on the following issues:-
Hosted by Professor Mick Peake and Professor Robert Rintoul this conference will feature succinct plenary presentations by key opinion leaders including Dr Neal Navani, Dr Matt Evison, Dr Alastair Greystoke, Dr Craig Dyer and more, this event will help identify the main elements currently limiting our ability to ensure best practice across the UK and explore solutions in interactive workshops that can be scaled up across the UK.
The event will be highly interactive in nature featuring practical workshops and delegates will have the opportunity to submit examples of good practice ahead of the conference with the option to be invited to present their work at the conference in lightening presentations.
The recommendations from the conference will be written up and produced as a post-event report and will also feature some examples of best practice quality improvement programmes.
