Our ambition

The UKLCC’s founding ambition was to tackle poor lung cancer survival outcomes and, specifically to double five-year survival by 2015, which has now effectively been achieved (9 percent in 2005 to 16 per cent in England).1 The UK Lung Cancer Coalition (UKLCC) is now calling for a drastic improvement in UK lung cancer care to raise five-year survival rates to 25 percent by 2025.
